Telemental Health is providing therapy through a live video connection, over the internet. You provide the same treatment as you would in person, it's just done through a smartphone or computer! If you've ever used Skype on your computer or FaceTime on your iPhone, you've used the same type of technology Telemental Health uses.

You'd like to make an appointment for next Friday but you're scheduled to be in Boise for a business trip that day. No worries! As long as you are within state boundaries you can still meet with your therapist, just schedule a TeleTherapy session.
Have you ever been looking forward to your next therapy session and you wake up sick? You want to keep your appointment, but you'd also rather stay home wrapped in a warm blanket beside your fireplace with a mug of warm lemon-honey water. We've got you covered! Just call in to let us know you'd like to change your appointment to a TeleTherapy session.
Technology Tools Required:
You will need a secure and stable internet connection on a device capable of video and audio communication. This could be your smart cell phone or your computer.
You'll need a space that is private and quiet, preferably your home. The place you choose to have your appointment should be somewhere you feel freely able to speak as you would in a face-to-face appointment.
There are some circumstances where Telemental Health is not recommended. They include your first inital intake appointment, among others. Talk with your mental healthcare provider to discuss whether Telemental Health is right for you.
Q: How do I make a Telemental Health Appointment?
A: Telemental Health appointments are scheduled the same way as face-to-face appointments. Either stop by 393 E. 2nd N., Rexburg ID 83440 during regular business hours or call our office at (208) 359-4840.
Q: Is my provider qualified to offer Telemental Health?
A: Centerpoint Counseling Services Providers are qualified to offer Telemental Health.
Q: What is the Cost of Telemental Health?
A: Telemental Health generally costs the same as face-to-face, but please check with your insurance company for the most up-to-date information.
Q: Does My Insurance Cover TeleTherapy?
A: Most, but not all, insurance policies view Telemental Health the same as face-to-face appointments. We encourage you to contact your insurance company to learn whether they cover this service. As with any service, you will be held responsible for charges your insurance doesn't pay.
Q: Do I have to Pay for Incomplete Sessions?
A: If the Telemental Health session is unable to begin or is stopped before it's scheduled ending time, either due to technical difficulties or because the environment you choose to call from isn't appropriate and conducive to treatment, you will be charged the full amount of the appointment and it will not be billed to your insurance.

Have your device with you at the time of your appointment and click on the email link to "Join" the meeting your provider has started for you. You may elect to have a session over the phone without video as well.
