Consider individual, couple, or family counseling with one of our Graduate-Level Intern Therapists.
These therapists are in the final year of earning their Master's degrees to become fully licensed clinicians.
Our Intern Therapists are steadily supervised by our certified Clinical Supervisors to provide you and your family the best care possible.
These services are only $30 per session.
Consider joining one of our Therapy Groups for a cost-effective therapy option. These groups are facilitated by one of our fully licensed therapists, and can offer additional benefits that individual therapy can't.
Therapy groups are typically 90-120 minutes, once a week.
Groups cost $20-$35 per session, depending on length and material.
Some groups are billable to insurance.
We are pleased to offer our Light Therapy Box to all members of the community free of charge in 30-minute increments.
Light therapy is a way to treat Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and certain other conditions by exposure to artificial light. Our light therapy box gives off a bright light that mimics the wavelength of natural outdoor light, easing SAD symptoms.
Using a light therapy box may also help with other types of depression, sleep disorders and other conditions.
To sign up for a time, please call our office or drop by during office hours. Time slots are available every 30 minutes during business hours (M-F 9am-6pm). You are not required to be a client to schedule for this service.
The mission Centerpoint Counseling Services is to provide mental health care to those who need it most. In order to meet that mission, we provide care to all regardless of ability to pay. It is the policy of Centerpoint Counseling Clinic to offer a Sliding Fee Program for our services. Discounts are offered based on family size and annual income. If you wish to apply, please complete the attached application packet and return it to our office. We will determine if you or members of your family are eligible for a discount. To qualify, you must include appropriate documents to verify household income.
Household is defined as: a group of two people or more (one of whom is the householder) related by birth, marriage, or adoption and residing together; all such people (including related subfamily members) are considered as members of one family.
Income includes: earnings, unemployment compensation, workers' compensation, Social Security, Supplemental Security Income, public assistance, veterans' payments, survivor benefits, pension or retirement income, interest, dividends, rents, royalties, income from estates, trusts, educational assistance, alimony, child support, assistance from outside the household, and other miscellaneous sources. Noncash benefits (such as food stamps and housing subsidies) do not count.
The discount will apply to the primary services received at this clinic, but not those services or equipment that are purchased from outside entities, including reference laboratory testing, books, medication management, and psychological testing. The discount will be good for twelve (12) months or if your financial situation changes, whichever comes first.
We look forward to hearing from you.
