THIS PROGRAM WILL HELP YOU ...
Learn How the Courage to Be Vulnerable Transforms the Way We Live, Love, Parent, and Lead.
In a world where “never enough” dominates and feeling afraid has become second nature, vulnerability is subversive. Uncomfortable. It’s even a little dangerous at times. And without question, putting ourselves out there means there’s a far greater risk of getting criticized or feeling hurt. But when we step back and examine our lives, we will find that nothing is as uncomfortable, dangerous, or hurtful as standing on the outside looking in and wondering what it would be like if we had the courage to step into the arena. Daring Greatly is a practice and a powerful vision for letting ourselves be seen.
In Daring Greatly, we learn to challenge everything we think we know about vulnerability. Vulnerability is not weakness, but rather our clearest path to courage, engagement, and meaningful connection.
Rising Strong™ is based on the research of Brené Brown, Ph.D. LMSW. Dr. Brené Brown is a research professor at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work. She has spent the past twelve years studying vulnerability, courage, worthiness, and shame. Her groundbreaking research has been featured on PBS, NPR, CNN, and Oprah Winfrey’s Super Soul Sunday.
Brené’s 2010 TEDx Houston talk—“The Power of Vulnerability”—is one of the top ten most-viewed TED talks in the world, with over 20 million views.
