Abraham Maslow once said, “If you only have a hammer, you tend to see every problem as a nail.” This quote reflects my passion for creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals can explore the reasons that brought them to counseling. I approach each session with a personalized focus, helping clients identify their unique challenges—their “nails”—while equipping them with a broader set of tools and strategies to navigate and overcome those difficulties.
I have the privilege of working with clients in a virtual setting, which often fosters a greater sense of authenticity and openness for both parties. Engaging from the comfort of our own environments can enhance the therapeutic experience without compromising the depth or integrity of the client-therapist relationship. I am committed to creating a supportive and welcoming space where clients feel at ease, empowered, and fully engaged in the therapeutic process.
I take a person-centered, strengths-based approach to therapy, thoughtfully addressing the social, emotional, and spiritual aspects of each client’s life. My work is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, Positive Psychology, and other proven modalities. I have experience working with individuals ages 14 and older from diverse backgrounds, and I am passionate about supporting clients through a wide range of challenges, such as depression, anxiety, pornography addiction, anger management, women’s health concerns, perinatal and postnatal mental health, and relationship issues.
I was born and raised in Idaho, and I am very proud to be an Idahoan! I currently live in Twin Falls, Idaho, with my husband and newborn son. When I am not working I enjoy spending my time outside in the mountains, kayaking the Snake River, and being a mommy to our little man.
