I want to provide clients compassionate, person focused mental health care. I think it is important for a client to feel like they are being seen and to meet them where they are at. I believe in a holistic and collaborative approach that is evidenced-based and meets the needs, values, and goals of each individual.
I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Over my 27-year nursing career, my desire is to help individuals struggling with mental health issues achieve stability to live their best lives possible. My goal is to provide patient-centered care that focuses on individual strengths, mindfulness, and living life with purpose.
There is such a stigma in regards to mental health. The brain is part of the body and deserves to be cared for. I want to meet my clients where they are at in their journey and assist them to find the light that is on the other side. I offer compassionate mental healthcare and I am here to offer patient focused, compassionate care.

As an advanced practice nurse, the thing I love most is helping people. My desire is to help you improve your mental health. I am a firm believer in judgment-free, trauma-informed mental health care. Mental health struggles are nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about. As is often stated, “Everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.”
Throughout my two-decade nursing career, I have worked in various settings. I am a certified pediatric nurse and took care of children in the inpatient setting for six years. I later became a certified nursing educator, and taught college level nursing courses including mental health nursing.
In addition to my nursing experience, I volunteer as a court appointed special advocate for children (CASA) working with children in the child-protection setting.
I grew up in the mountain west and have lived in southeast Idaho for over a decade. I love Idaho, I enjoy camping with my family and all the other outdoor activities that the area has to offer. I like having all four seasons. Yes, I even like the snow, but I am also always happy for spring.
