Employee Assistance Plans (EAP)

Many employers believe in helping their employees feel their best and are willing to pay for counseling services, 100%! These benefits are often widely available but not well known among employees. Here's how it works:
 

1) Check with your human resources department - either in person or confidentially by phone - to find out if your employer offers EAP benefits.


 2) If your employer offers EAP benefits, your H.R. department will give you the name and number of the EAP company. EAP services are kept confidential from your employer.


3) Call the EAP company, and tell them you'd like to use your EAP benefits with Centerpoint Counseling. They may give you an authorization number or a list of acceptable providers.


 4) Call our office to schedule your appointment. Make sure to tell us you are using your EAP benefits and which company it's through.
