Amy genuinely cares about people and wants to help others navigate life's challenges. She helps clients address a variety of mental and emotional health issues, such as depression, anxiety, aging, and stress management, as well as educational and career concerns. She can assist with issues associated with blending families, couple/marital relationships, and parenting.

A wealth of life experiences allows Amy to recognize common patterns that can affect individuals. Her academic journey includes a Master of Counseling degree from Idaho State University with an emphasis on Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling and a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University Provo. These qualifications, coupled with her practical experience, form the foundation of her professional expertise in counseling.

Amy embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion in her counseling philosophy. She recognizes the importance of understanding her client’s environment and its effects on their psychological and emotional well-being. She is mindful that we all come from various cultural backgrounds and believes that the differences between us are what make life so enjoyable.

Amy enjoys a good DIY project in her spare time and loves spending time with her family.

CHARLES FLORMAN

CHARLES FLORMAN - LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR, LPC-3781800

Charles has lived and worked around neurodivergence his entire life and has used the understanding he has gained from that experience to shape much of his counseling theory. Change occurs when we understand the patterns that have led us to where we are today. When we see the patterns we are more easily able to identify ways to change them. Henry Ford is quoted as saying: “If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.” In therapy this means challenging not only the patterns of behaviors, but at times the fundamentals of how those patterns began.

Charles’ focus is on developing a strong therapeutic alliance so that you always have someone in your corner to help untangle the complexities of life. Charles uses various therapeutic lenses and techniques, including: psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic processing, and narrative therapies.

During grad school Charles had the opportunity to serve as an intern therapist in both a private practice setting as well as providing both individual and group skills therapy in a juvenile detention setting.
