Philosophy & Approach
I believe life itself is one of our greatest teachers. My counseling approach is grounded in
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), empowering clients to uncover their own strengths and
discover practical solutions on their path toward healing. I see myself as a guide and collaborator,
walking alongside you as we navigate challenges and celebrate growth.
I often integrate mindfulness techniques and a variety of evidence-based interventions tailored to
each individual, creating a safe and supportive environment for meaningful change. I also value the
role of relationships in well-being, and when appropriate, encourage the inclusion of family members
in the counseling process to foster connection, understanding, and collective healing.
Education & Qualifications
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education with a minor in German, and a
Master's degree in Counseling from Colorado Christian University. In addition to my formal
education, I have received specialized training in Collaborative Problem Solving, QPR Suicide
Prevention, and NAMI Family-to-Family. I have also completed coursework on brain development
and the effects of drugs on the brain.
My professional development is ongoing, and I am committed to continually expanding my skills and
knowledge through advanced trainings and certifications to provide the highest standard of care to
my clients.
