Kathy graduated from Idaho State University with her Masters of Counseling. She has worked the past 15 years at Madison Middle School as a school counselor. She assisted youth with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, relational conflict, and support for parents and students with autism. Kathy utilizes sandtray, art therapy, role playing and bibliotherapy while working with clients to instill change, and self awareness.
Kathy has spent time working with couples and coaching them to create an emotional connection in their relationship. She has an understanding of self injury and LGBTQ as she helped young adults address these situations.
Kathy enjoys spending time with her 4 adult children, and her seventeen grandchildren, which she professes are the best part of life. She was married for nearly 48 years, losing her husband to death just recently. She also lost an adult son nearly 4 years ago. She personally understands loss and grief. She loves people, laughing, learning and exploring new ideas, making quilts for family, Jeeping, and especially enjoys the lakes and mountains, with the Teton Peaks being her favorite view.
